 Good Technique Means Great Results!

A good feather duster technique is key when using our Premium Feather Duster.  The feathers pull so much dust off your furniture that you should use the duster properly for best results.

     Step #1- Gently stroke the duster across the suface, toward the floor. Light to medium dust levels will be trapped in the duster. (If there's excess dust falling from the item, it will land on a lower surface to be dusted next.)  DO NOT FLICK THE DUSTER!  You will release all the dust into the air.  Use light strokes and let the duster do the work.

     Step #2- As you dust around the room, glide the duster in, over and around objects.  Most of the time, picking up objects is not necessary.  This is great for dusting around knick-knacks and collectables.

     Step #3- When dusting is complete, shake the feather duster vigorously outside to remove the dust.  It's now ready for its next task.

Ostrich Feather Duster Care

Because of it's similar makeup to human hair, care of the ostrich feather requires only an occasional shampoo and blow dry.  Swish the duster in warm water with a little shampoo.  Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.  Blow dry the feathers on low heat to make the duster full and lush again.  It's that easy.
